雲林縣姊妹縣德國梅佛邦巴歆縣訪問團來訪第3日，縣府文觀處今(28)日特地安排近期相當受到歡迎的森林療癒步道體驗，以及雲嶺之丘、蓬萊瀑布、萬年峽谷等極具特色景點，讓來訪賓客放鬆身心靈外，也能充分感受本縣山林之美，且藉由於茶園旁的靜心茶席及咖啡莊園手作體驗課程，讓大家能更深入了解在地產業發展及魅力之處。
德國梅佛邦巴歆縣訪問團漫遊古坑草嶺石壁 森林療癒深呼吸
巴歆縣縣長史騰貝格表示，巴歆縣邦幾乎都是平原，來到草嶺石壁看到這麼多山讓他很興奮，他也笑說今天爬山有點累。而隨團貴賓也分享，今日能藉由森林療癒體驗，呼吸著清新的空氣，欣賞到難得一見的美麗雲海，還有廣闊的茶園景觀與泡茶體驗，讓人印象非常深刻，身心靈舒暢更是難以言喻。
雲林縣姊妹縣德國梅佛邦巴歆縣訪問團來訪第3日，縣府文觀處今(28)日特地安排近期相當受到歡迎的森林療癒步道體驗。張麗善縣長指出，我們的姊妹縣巴歆縣在德國各邦中擁有最長的海岸線之邦，自然風景美麗，觀光資源豐富，境內有3個國家公園及287個自然保護區，觀光產業亦相當蓬勃發展，今(28)日特別安排雲林獨特的生態旅遊及療癒觀光，讓來訪賓客能感受有別於國內的觀光產業型態；值得一提的是在921大地震後古坑道路中斷，草嶺石壁反而得以休養生息，歷經20年的慢慢修復，現在透過我們有系統及規劃努力之下，除了道路再度開通外，也將古坑草嶺石壁持續提升觀光發展潛力，更將以此作為推動符合SDGs永續低碳旅遊重要據點，未來將引爆全球健康森林療癒的台灣觀光量能。
雲林獨特的生態旅遊及療癒觀光，讓來訪賓客能感受有別於國內的觀光產業型態張縣長強調，雲林縣得天獨厚，古坑草嶺海拔、氣候水質及土壤俱佳，適合培育出優質、無農藥殘留的優質咖啡生豆，透過別出心裁的後製技術，所產出的咖啡具本土獨特花香、茶香及果香，餘韻十足，縣內每年舉辦生產管理、後端加工及感官品評等課程，培養具潛力的咖啡農，也讓喜歡國產咖啡者，藉透明平台學習新知，相關農友及業者相關技術皆有顯著進步，而本次安排體驗行程的花囍田咖啡莊園更是榮獲「典藏台灣精品咖啡國際競標賽」第4名殊榮，咖啡豆品質備受國際肯定，成為雲林的驕傲之一，也趁這次姊妹縣來訪機會推薦給德國貴賓。
今日眾人幸運一睹雲嶺之丘一年僅現十餘次的雲海風采文化觀光處長陳璧君說，透過臺大實驗林管理處進行一系列的調查與測量，草嶺石壁森林療癒基地的負離子數高達18,440個/立方公分，是一般都市公園的40多倍，可見草嶺石壁地區空氣品質非常優良，且更有高達363種維管束植物，昆蟲紀錄有196種，鳥類紀錄也達83種之多，生態種類相當豐富；在張縣長帶領下，不僅完成了草嶺石壁地區的五感體驗遊程規劃及培訓森林療癒導覽員，未來也將持續向林務局爭取成為森林療癒基地的優先示範場域，期望透過中央與地方的共同合作，逐步發展成為國家級森林療癒場域，落實在地療癒觀光發展，創造在地民眾及遊客的優質觀光體驗，進而成為國際級的觀光亮點。
透過將近40分鐘杉林步道森林療癒體驗，沿途導覽台灣山林生態以及常見藥用、食用植物解說。陳璧君處長表示，除了擁有山林之美的古坑草嶺石壁外，雲林存在許多歷史悠久的宮廟且香火興盛，無論是遠近馳名的北港朝天宮媽祖或是北港武德宮，均為全國宗教場所類型觀光遊憩據點觀光人次翹楚，可觀的香客人潮成為推展雲林觀光景點或活動的重點客群，文化觀光處為了將香客轉為遊客到訪雲林豐富多元景點及活動，致力於建構雲林獨有的活動品牌，藉由故事行銷、產業結盟、創新永續、美感設計等策略提昇活動整體質感，成功打造整年度活動不間斷的紀錄，自年初北港燈會、北港迎媽祖、白沙屯媽祖進香到推廣自然生態奇景的春日賞花季、螢火蟲季，接續下半年海洋音樂祭、夏至藝術節、成龍溼地環境藝術季、韶安客家文化節、雲林國際偶戲節、草嶺森林療癒祭等，成功吸納香客量能轉換為遊客，達成「香客轉遊客，遊客變常客」之目標，推展觀光成效各界有目共睹，讓遊客看見不一樣的雲林，也要將雲林積極推上國際觀光舞台。

Unveiling the Hidden Gems of Yunlin – Yunlin County Government Leads VIPs from the Parchim German Sister County to Breathe in the Beauty of Yunlin by Exploring Gukeng’s Caoling Stone Wall and the Healing Caoling Forest Trail
Today (the 28th) is the third day of the German Parchim County’s visit to Yunlin. Parchim County in Germany and Yunlin County in Taiwan are sister counties. On this day, the county government arranged a special experience for the VIPs. The visit included unique attractions such as Caoling’s Healing Forest Trail, Cloud Ridge Hill, Penglai Waterfall, and Wannian Gorge. The Parchim County guests were able to relax their body and mind, fully experiencing the beauty of the mountains and forests in our county. Additionally, a tranquil tea ceremony and hands-on experience was provided at a coffee estate next to the tea plantations. The goal of these activities was to deepen the distinguished guests’ understanding of the local industry’s development and charm.
County Magistrate Chang Li-shan pointed out that our sister county, Parchim, has the longest coastline among the states in Germany, with beautiful natural landscapes and an abundance of tourism resources. Parchim County is home to three national parks and 287 nature reserves, with a thriving tourism industry. Today (on the 28th), a special arrangement was made for the visiting guests to experience Yunlin’s unique and healing ecological sightseeing locations. Through this trip, the visitors were able to experience a tourism industry that differs from their domestic industry. It is important to mention that, following the earthquake on September 21st, 1999, the road in Guhu was cut off. However, since then, the Caoling Stone Wall has been rejuvenated and now thrives. There have been 20 years of gradual restoration efforts with systematic planning and hard work. Not only has the road reopened as a result, but the potential for tourism development in the Guhu Caoling Stone Wall also continues to be enhanced. It serves as an important hub for promoting sustainable and low-carbon tourism aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) standards. In the future, it will also ignite Taiwan's capacity for global healthy forest healing through tourism.
County Magistrate Chang emphasized that Yunlin County is uniquely endowed with an ideal altitude, climate, water quality, and soil conditions in Caoling, Gukeng. These exceptional conditions make the location suitable for cultivating high-quality coffee beans without any pesticide residue. Through innovative post-processing techniques, the locally produced coffee possesses distinctive floral, tea, and fruity aromas with a lingering aftertaste. The county organizes courses on production management, post-processing, and sensory evaluation every year. Such courses support potential coffee farmers and provide a transparent platform for coffee enthusiasts to learn new knowledge. This has led to significant progress in related techniques among farmers and industry professionals. The Flower Joy Field Coffee Estate, which arranged this visit’s exceptional experience and itinerary, has even been honored as the fourth-place winner in the "Collection Taiwan Fine Coffee International Auction." The coffee estate has received international recognition for the quality of its coffee beans and has become one of the prides of Yunlin. This visit by the sister county therefore provides an opportunity to recommend Yunlin’s special products and delicacies to the German VIPs.
Director Chen Bi-jun of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Tourism stated that, through a series of surveys and measurements conducted by the Experimental Forest Management Office of National Taiwan University, it has been discovered that the negative ion count in the Caoling Stone Wall Healing Forest Base reaches an impressive 18,440 ions per cubic centimeter. This number is over 40 times higher than typical urban parks. This indicates that the air quality in the Caoling Stone Wall area is excellent. Moreover, the area is home to 363 species of vascular plants, 196 species of insects, and 83 species of birds, showcasing a rich ecological diversity. Under the leadership of County Magistrate Chang, both the sensory experience tour and the training of forest healing guides in the Caoling Stone Wall area has already been completed. Furthermore, there are ongoing efforts to make this area a priority demonstration site for forest healing bases by seeking recognition from the Forestry Bureau. The goal is to gradually develop it into a national-level forest healing site through the central and local governments’ cooperation. The goal is to implement development for local healing tourism, create high-quality experiences for residents and visitors, and ultimately become an international tourism site.
Director Chen Bi-jun stated that, in addition to the natural beauty of mountains and forests such as Gukeng’s Caoling Stone Wall, Yunlin County is home to many historically significant temples. Yunlin holds a thriving religious atmosphere, with famous temples such as Beigang Chaotian Temple and Beigang Wude Temple attracting many tourists. These temples have become key attractions for religious tourism nationwide. The significant influx of worshippers has become a focal point for promoting tourism sites and activities in Yunlin. The Department of Cultural Affairs and Tourism is committed to transforming these worshippers into visitors who explore the diverse attractions and activities in Yunlin. Efforts have been made to establish unique event brands for Yunlin, enhancing the overall quality of activities through strategies such as storytelling marketing, industry alliances, innovation and sustainability, and aesthetic designs. This has resulted in a continuous record of year-round events, starting from the Beigang Lantern Festival, Beigang Mazu Pilgrimage, White Sands Mazu Pilgrimage, and continuing with the promotion of the Spring Blossom Season, Firefly Season, Ocean Music Festival, Summer Solstice Art Festival, Chenglong Wetland Environmental Art Season, Sha'an Hakka Cultural Festival, Yunlin International Puppet Festival, and Grass Ridge Forest Healing Festival in the latter half of the year. The successful transformation of worshippers into visitors has achieved the goal of "turning worshippers into visitors and visitors into regulars." The effectiveness of this promotion of tourism has been widely recognized, allowing visitors to see a different side of Yunlin by actively promoting Yunlin on the international tourism stage.
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Tourism also added that the 2023 Dapi Art Festival, launched in collaboration with the Dapi Township Office and the Global University of Technology, invites international art masters from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea to create unique art installations in collaboration with local industries and communities. The exhibition was launched on April 25th and visitors are welcome to explore local rural stories through these fruitful creative achievements and travel routes. Furthermore, the highly anticipated chapter of the "Hou Gong Xue" (Thick Industry Learning) project, Yunlin County's largest arts and cultural curatorial event, will take place from November 18th to December 3rd.
